The Zillertal Alps National Park, an "area of tranquillity" on the Ziller valley high ridge (1,000 - 3,509 m altitude) encompassing 372 km2, is full of lasting impressions - with almost 80 glaciers, three large reservoirs, as well as several mountain and corrie lakes, the landscape extends over all altitudes of the inner Alps.

High Alpine Nature Park Zillertal Alps
The unique high alpine landscape of this nature park can be enjoyed just outside Mayrhofen. The protected area ranges from 1,000 m altitude, starting near Mayrhofen, in the mountain village Ginzling, to the highest mountain of the valley, the Hochfeiler, at 3,500 m. Many trails, mountain inns, and eight safety cabins offer nature lovers, hikers, mountaineers, and climbers numerous opportunities for relaxation.

Hiking Village Ginzling
